OHIO: Olive* is a teenager who lives in a residential facility and has been in foster care for a very long time. When a Wendy’s Wonderful Kids® (WWK) recruiter received her case, she found a note in case notes that Olive fondly remembered an aunt and uncle.
Without current contact information, they had not received updates on Olive.
The WWK recruiter used the Connect Our Kids technology platform to locate them quickly. Olive was thrilled to connect with her aunt and uncle. They now enjoy weekly phone calls and are in the process of building a relationship. Olive hopes they will meet in person one day soon.
