Adoptive fathers and founders of Comfort Cases, Rob and his husband Reece are on a mission to ensure every child entering the foster care system has Comfort Cases, a replacement for the trash bags used while children enter the foster care system. To date, Comfort Cases have impacted over 110,000 children in the foster care system. But they are not stopping there.
Now, together with radio host Dana McKay, Comfort Cases has launched its wildly popular podcast: Fostering Change. This important podcast focuses on how we as a community can come together to bring about change in the system and in the lives of children. In a recent episode, Connect Our Kids co-founders, Jessica Stern and Jennifer Jacobs both shared the story behind Connect Our Kids and how our technology goes about finding permanent connections for children in foster care.
The Connect Our Kids team talks with dedicated child advocates across the country, and we know there is a burning desire to change the foster care experience in America. It’s an honor to be a part of this much-needed change and work alongside organizations who are leading the way.
