May Is National Foster Care Month: #ProjectMyFavoriteThing Celebrates Moms

Oftentimes, we think of May as the month to honor our mothers and as a month gearing up to a summer filled with outdoor activities and vacations. In addition (and poignantly for us), May is National Foster Care Month, a time to acknowledge foster parents, family members, volunteers, mentors, policymakers, child welfare professionals, and other members of the community who help children and youth in foster care find permanent homes and connections.

In an effort to assist with the implementation of the Family First Act, Connect Our Kids has developed technology tools to streamline the family diligent search and engagement process. Because of the generosity of private donors, these tools are offered free of charge to social workers, family recruiters and CASA volunteers.

How The Lambda School Is Accelerating Our Mission
