We are thrilled to announce the official launch of Connect Our Kids University, an online training center offering courses developed by licensed social workers. These courses are designed to educate child welfare professionals on the importance of relational health, the impact of childhood trauma, and the transformative power of connections for children. Our trauma-informed curriculum is ideal for anyone dedicated to enhancing the well-being of families, children, youth, and young adults within the child welfare system.
Our inaugural video course, Why Relationships Matter, explores the essential role relationships play in the lives of children and youth. This course covers the foundational aspects of trauma, offering insights into creating effective solutions that promote healing through meaningful, committed connections. Discover how these connections provide safety and stability, learn the importance of maintaining and rediscovering relationships to heal trauma, and how relationships help to instill a strong sense of self-identity.
We are seeking CEU accreditation (for 2 credit hours) for our first course and are already well underway with work on our next course.
